Muesli bars

Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup soy flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered milk
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ
  • 1/2 cup nuts
  • 1/2 cup dried apples, chopped
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease a 9 x 13" pan.
  2. Combine all ingredients through salt in a large bowl.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan. Heat until blended, but do not boil.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients. 
  5. Pat into prepared pan.
  6. Bake about 25 minutes, or just until edges begin to brown.
  7. Cool 10 minutes in pan. Cut into bars. Remove from pan when cool enough to handle and cool on wire rack.
