- sliced apples or sliced bananas
- brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 cup flour
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Sauté apples or bananas in butter in a 10-inch cast iron skillet. Add cinnamon and brown sugar to taste. Set aside.
- Beat eggs. Add remaining ingredients.
- Pour batter over fruit in skillet. Sprinkle top with brown sugar.
- Bake about 25 minutes, until puffy and golden brown.
