Skillet corn bread

Ingredients
  • ¼ cup flour
  • ¼ cup cornmeal
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • pinch salt
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Instructions
  1. Combine dry ingredients.
  2. Combine wet ingredients.
  3. Add wet ingredients to dry; stir until just moistened.
  4. Grease and heat 8” skillet over low heat.
  5. Pour batter in and cook 4-5 minutes. Turn and cook 4 minutes longer.

Serves 2-4.
