Linguine with clam sauce

Ingredients
  • 1 pound linguine
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 7-ounce cans minced clams
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • ¾ teaspoon thyme
  • ¾ teaspoon basil

Instructions
  1. Cook linguine.
  2. Heat butter and cook garlic 1 min.
  3. Stir in flour and juice from clams. Bring to a full boil, stirring.
  4. Add clams and spices; simmer 5 min.
  5. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with linguine.
