- 1 cup rice
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped (optional)
- 1 14.5-ounce can chopped tomatoes
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon chicken or beef bouillon powder
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
Instructions
- Cook onion (if using) in oil. Add rice and sauté until golden brown. Add garlic and spices.
- Add remaining ingredients; cover and bring to a boil.
- Simmer 20–25 minutes.
