Makes 30.
- 1 cup butter, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2¼ cups flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- additional powdered sugar
Instructions
- Heat oven to 400 degrees.
- Mix butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Add flour and salt.
- Shape into 1” balls. Place 1” apart on ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake 10-12 minutes until set but not browned.
- Cool slightly on wire rack. Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar.
- Cool completely. Roll in powdered sugar again.
