Peanut butter oatmeal cookies

Cream together shortening and butter.
Add sugars, vanilla, peanut butter, eggs, salt, and baking soda. blending well. Mix in flour and oatmeal.
Drop in small balls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F for 7-9 minutes.
