Colonial brown bread

- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1¼ cups oatmeal, ground
- ⅔ cup flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup raisins
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9” pan.
- Combine dry ingredients.
- Add buttermilk. Fold in raisins.
- Pour into pan. Bake 1 hour.
