Banana oatmeal bread

- ½ cup butter
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 eggs
- 3 bananas, mashed
- ¼ cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup rolled oats
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup chopped nuts, optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9” loaf pan.
- Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time.
- Add bananas, buttermilk, vanilla, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix well and add the oats, flour, and pecans. Transfer to pan.
- Bake 55 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
