Swedish rice porridge

Ingredients
  • 1 cup white rice
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions
  1. Bring rice, water, and cinnamon to a boil. Simmer 10-15 minutes, or until water is absorbed.
  2. Add milk, sugar, raisins, and vanilla. Simmer 45 minutes.
