Lentil curry

Serves 4.
- 1 cup lentils
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 14-ounce can crushed or diced tomatoes
Instructions
- Cook lentils.
- Cook onions in oil.
- Combine spices and add. Cook 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in tomatoes and heat through.
- Combine lentils and tomato mixture.
